"Covert Affairs" centers on a young CIA trainee, Annie Walker, mysteriously summoned to headquarters for duty as field operative. While Annie believes she"s been promoted for her exceptional linguistic skills, there may be something or someone from her past that her CIA bosses are really after. Christopher Gorham plays Auggie Anderson, a CIA military intelligence agent who was blinded while on assignment and is Annie%27s guide in this world of bureaucracy, excitement and intrigue.
Annie is tasked with getting close to Diego, a college student, in the hopes that his sister, Julia, will provide the CIA with intel on Victor Ponces, a corrupt Venezuelan government official. But when the CIA station agent looking into Ponces goes missing, Diego%27s trust in Annie means that shes going to have to finish the job.
